Around the star Alnitak, the easternmost star in Orion's belt. Upper left is the Flame nebula, below is the Horsehead nebula. The starburst in the upper right corner is amp-glow, created by the internal electronics of the camera. Unlike most images posted, this is a single image, no calibration data to remove noise (like random radiation, camera noise, hot pixels), just a quick shot to see what's there.
