M31 Andromeda Galaxy

Our closest neighbor - except for the Magellanic Clouds which are satellite galaxies of our own Milky Way. 2.5 million light years away (about 14,696,563,400,000,000,000 miles away), and the halos of our galaxies are arleady colliding.
